Saturday Science Clubs give children aged 5-11 an opportunity to engage with science in a fun, hands on investigative approach. Children interested in learning how and why things work. Our sessions are inclusive and everyone is welcome to have a go. Activities are age appropriate and challenge children to link activities to real-life context.
The sessions helps to build confidence, independent and collaborative small group working. Activities help develop children's understanding of scientific processes and encourage the use of appropriate scientific vocabulary.

AGREEMENT & IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DROP OFF AND COLLECTION

Please drop off your children promptly prior to sessions commencing.

Please make to to let the tutor know if someone different will be picking up you child at the end of each session * (name and details must be given to the tutor at drop off with a known password).

Please arrive promptly to pick up your children at the end of a session.

Late collection would incur extra charges.
CANCELLATION POLICY

Please let us know as soon as possible if your circumstances change and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Refunds would be given if you give us more than 7 days notice prior to the event, but this will incur a 5% admin charge which will be deducted at the time of refund.

No refund can be given if you cancel within 7 days of the event.

For the unforeseen circumstance if an event needs to be reschedule we will let you know in writing or by phone, and we will offer an alternative event or date or refund the full amount for the missed session. No admin charge will be incurred.
IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION
Do not attend OR bring your child to the science session if you any of the following symptoms:

New continuous cough

High temperature

Loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell

If your child have been with someone with suspected COVID-19 in the last 7 days or if you have been told to self-isolate.

Take a lateral flow test and arrange for a PCR test
ALLERGIES/ ILLNESS
Please make sure you inform us us of any allergies, needs or medical concerns that we should be awre of.
Any child suffering from any contagious disease is not and will not be permitted to attend.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Smells and Bangs Science will take photos & videos of students and their activities for advertising or promotional purposes. If you do NOT want your child to be photographed, please inform us. I confirm I have read and understood the above.

CONSENT
By signing up for the duration of the sessions you are confirming you have read and understood our terms s and policies and you have given permission for photo's to be taken of your child during science activity sessions.
